We are an established company with years of experience specialising in supplying Genuine, Universal and Direct Replacement remote controls along with other AV products such as FreeSAT decoders.

In order to serve both mainland Europe and the Ex-Pat community in Spain better, we have now set up a distribution office in Spain. The RemotesinSpain.com web site to allow you to buy the remote controls and FreeSAT decoders locally, paying in either Euros or Sterling.  

To order your new remote control in Spain simply select the category on the left or click here to select your brand and then model number. Creating an account is optional during the checkout process but will make it quicker should you wish to purchase again in the future.

Postage will be calculated during the checkout process based on your delivery address. Delivery in the UK or Spain will incur standard local postal charges with all other destinations charged at our Airmail rates. You will also have the option to select Recorded Delivery/Certificado if you wish.

The most common question we are asked is what the difference is between Genuine, Replacement and Universal remote controls, which we are happy to clarify below:-

1. A Genuine (Original) remote control as was supplied by the manufacturer from new (or an updated version thereof), 
2. A Replacement remote control is a fully-functioning direct alternative. It is electronically identical to the Original remote control although it looks different. It provides all the same functions as the original remote control without the need to enter any setup codes as with a universal remote control. simply insert the batteries and start using, 
3. A Universal Remote Control is where you have to put a code in to make it work. Most Universals provide only the basic functions such as volume and channel changing. "Full Function" Universals also provided more advanced features such as tuning.

Please note that if your model number contains characters such as "-" and "/" it is worth trying without those characters.
